I have always been a very physical person, experiencing everything through my body - it is my base, my teacher and the door through which I enter into the divine.

After trying the conventional healing way of studying medicine and remedial massage, my thirst for a more meaningful approach made me travel the world, spending many years meditating with an enlightened master and studying with very inspired cutting-edge bodywork and psychotherapy teachers.
Especially the Rebalancing training tied it all together: psychological healing, meditation, bodywork – I had found the core of my way of healing.

In the last 15 years I have worked with thousands of people in different frameworks, private practice, big hotels, wellness centres and with the focus on remedial, psychological and relaxation. There have been many different phases in my work as I kept studying different approaches and integrating them into what I do. I am now mostly practicing in the Byron Bay area.

My joy in this work is the nonverbal communication between my hands and body and the body of the ’client’ on the massage table, melting the accumulated barriers and tensions and finally entering the space of a floating, still, vibrant relaxation.

My emphasis in massage is to facilitate as deep a release of any stagnation, blockage or misalignment in the body-mind as it is possible in any particular session. This means finding the perfect depth and rhythm and working with full awareness and sensitivity.

In my experience, healing happens in the space of being, when the body is so relaxed that it can’t be felt any more, the mind is still, even for a few seconds and the realm of problems has evaporated to make space for acceptance, soft light and love.

5 years ago a new phase started, passing on my expertise and knowledge to the next generation of massage therapists. I have been teaching to beginners and remedial massage therapists alike in Germany and Australia, teaching my own courses as well as in Cert.IV and Diploma courses at Massage Schools of Queensland.

It is an absolute pleasure and privilege for me to teach everything I have learned, experienced and developed to anyone wanting to learn this rewarding art of healing.
